Founded in 2022 by violinist Avital Mazor and Blairsville native Sarah Marshall, the Blairsville Chamber Music Society began as the Blairsville Chamber Music Festival, created to bring world-class music and the timeless beauty of chamber performance to the heart of Blairsville, Pennsylvania. Inspired by the town’s captivating charm and close-knit community, the founders set out to share their passion for chamber music with audiences of all ages.

From its first season, the festival quickly became a highlight of Blairsville’s cultural calendar. Visiting musicians were enchanted by the town’s welcoming spirit and scenic surroundings, and their eagerness to return became a defining part of the festival’s success.

In 2025, the organization expanded into a year-round concert series, presenting performances of world-class artistry that have already received enthusiastic acclaim from audiences and local supporters alike. With growing community engagement and artistic recognition, the Blairsville Chamber Music Society continues to inspire connection, celebrate creativity, and shine a spotlight on this special place.
